Internal Hardwood Doors
High quality, engineered construction characterises this range. Our engineered oak doors have veneered particleboard stiles and rails with either MDF or particleboard core panels, and there are fire door versions of the 4 Panel and Dordogne Oak designs. We offer a varied choice of glazed and panelled designs, as well as mobility sizes.
Advantages of an engineered construction for hardwood doors include:
1. Superior colour matching within each door It is far easier to colour match veneers than it is to do so on solid timber components.
2. Environmentally friendly The timber used to make one solid door would produce enough veneers to make at least ten engineered doors.
Our solid oak doors are of a tongue and groove construction with glued and nailed ledges.
We offer the following cores:
Standard Core A multi-cell core for light duty, non fire rated applications. Suitable for domestic use.
